The Department of Basic Engineering Sciences provides the courses in the basic sciences that the faculty needs. The Department of Basic Engineering Sciences aims to provide engineering students studying in undergraduate and graduate engineering programs with a strong background in the basic sciences. The Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry courses to be given to undergraduate engineering students are encouraged to conduct interdisciplinary studies. The Department of Basic Engineering Sciences aims to provide engineering undergraduate and graduate students with in-depth knowledge in a field of interest in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. In addition, the Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry courses in the curriculum of other units of our university are largely provided by our department.
